Conner Trails (“Conner Trails,” “we,” “us”) runs connertrails.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and the message you write. If you write about a rider, that may include the rider’s name, age, riding experience or needs you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Our website host, Squarespace, collects standard visit data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Squarespace uses cookies to do this and to keep the site working.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google to check that a person, not a bot, is submitting the form.
How we use it
To answer your questions and contact you about lessons, programs, parties, classes or volunteering.
To place riders on a waiting list and let you know when a spot opens.
To run, secure and improve the website.
To meet legal, insurance and safety obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site and our email, such as Squarespace (website hosting and forms), Google (reCAPTCHA and email) and GoDaddy (domain). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or animals at our facility.
Cookies
Squarespace places cookies that are needed for the site to work and cookies that measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not. See Squarespace’s cookie policy at squarespace.com/cookie-policy.
Google reCAPTCHA
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms) apply.
Children
Many of our riders are children, but this website is meant for parents, guardians and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages and waiting-list information for as long as we need it to respond and to run our programs, and then delete it, generally within 24 months of our last contact with you, unless we must keep it longer for legal or insurance reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@connertrails.com or calling (609) 254-5542. Depending on where you live, including New Jersey, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, such as the right to opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising (we do neither). If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and our providers use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send medical records or payment card numbers through our forms.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
