Riding Lessons at Conner Trails: Your Questions Answered

Thinking about riding lessons for yourself or your child? Here are the questions we hear most often.

Who can take lessons?

We teach children ages 5 and older, as well as adults. Children and adults ride in separate classes.

How do group lessons work?

Each lesson is one hour. Lessons run year-round in sessions: 7–8 weeks in the fall, winter and spring, and a 4-week session in the summer. Riders are placed in groups according to their riding level, so you'll ride with people at a similar stage.

How do I get a spot?

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis, and current students get preference. New students are added to our wait list, and we'll contact you when a spot opens in a lesson that fits your level.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, though availability is limited and depends on our instructors' schedules. Private lessons are for one rider, and semi-private lessons are for up to three riders. Each is a one-hour session at $55 per participant, and you can book them one at a time.

Can parents ride with their kids?

Yes. Our Parent and Child Lessons are one-hour riding lessons that include both parents and children. Prices vary, so contact us for details.

How do I sign up?

Fill out the form on our Contact Us page and tell us about any past riding experience. That helps us place you in the right lesson.
